A Buyer’s Guide for Deep Marking

If you need marks that survive the apocalypse (or just really harsh industrial environments), here is how to choose your fighter:

The Heavy Hitter (Pneumatic): Powered by compressed air, these machines are the “beasts” of the factory floor. They deliver a high-impact punch that digs deeper and faster into hard steel and castings. If your #1 priority is a mark that never fades, go Pneumatic.

The Smooth Operator (Electric): No air hose? No problem. Electric markers (like our HS-PE Series) are the ultimate “plug-and-play” solution. They are precise, portable. Noise is relatively lower than pneumatic systems. While they don’t hit quite as hard as pneumatic, they are perfect if you need to carry the machine to the part (like out in a rail yard).

The Bottom Line:

Want maximum depth and speed? Choose Pneumatic.

Need portability and convenience? Choose Electric.
